Delivery + Retail Roadie (Permanent Part-Time Position)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Delivery & Retail Roadie to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service, both in-store and during deliveries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our flower shop and the satisfaction of our customers.

Ideal candidate: A Retail/Hospitality worker looking for a set schedule, part time hours, and to be part of an inclusive, passionate, and tight-knit team

Hours: Approximately 16-24 (additional hours as required during Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day)

Schedule: Thursday 9:30am - 5:30pm, Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm, every other Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pm (Subject to change based on the evolving needs of the business).

Requirements:

• Customer service and merchandising experience in a retail environment

• Drivers licence, clean driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle

• Knowledge and comfort with navigating Fredericton and surrounding areas

• Comfortable with learning about various apps and technology

• Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds above waist

• Ability to multitask, follow instructions, and take initiative

• Built-in sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize

• Floral and Houseplant knowledge is considered an asset

• Experience working with a small business is considered an asset

Duties:

• Delivering flowers, plants and other products within Fredericton and surrounding areas on Thursdays and Fridays

• Using POS to check out customers

• Providing customer service in-store and over the phone

• Restocking shelves 

• Cleaning and general shop upkeep 

• Creating effective displays with boutique products 

• Ensuring window displays are full and updated regularly

• Tracking and communicating with supervisors as inventory sales

• Additional duties as needed
